Cash Analyst
This is a high-volume, analytical role focused on corporate and field-level cash and credit card transactions. The Cash Analyst will be responsible for account reconciliation, exception research, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, excels in Excel, and brings strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger activity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Reconcile daily cash and credit card activity across corporate and site-level accounts.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in transactions to ensure accuracy and prevent revenue loss.
- Support hotel operations teams with deposit and transaction inquiries.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments and field locations to resolve issues.
- Research transaction history including deposits, chargebacks, fees, and returns.
- Assist with month-end close activities including account reporting and exception tracking.
- Provide backup support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience3+ years of experience in cash accounting or reconciliation rolesStrong understanding of debits / credits and general ledger conceptsIntermediate to advanced Excel skills (will be tested on vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high transaction volumesExcellent communication skills for frequent interaction with field teams and internal departmentsAdditional Details :
