Role Description

This is a specialized building electrical inspection role. The electrical inspector will conduct building inspections, enforce codes, review plans, and ensure compliance with the California Electrical Code, NFPA 70, and local regulations on major commercial projects (large assembly, mid-rise, and high-rise buildings). Minimum 15 years of related inspection experience in the building electrical field is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Electrical Inspections and inspection techniques
• Proficiency in the California Electrical Code
• ICC E-2 certification is required
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site construction environment
• Ability to work in mid-rise and high-rise environments
