About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable specialty / setting required

License : Valid RN license required at the time of submission

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Neuro experience required

Charting system experience with Epic

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown Neuro.

The Nurse will float between designated units as needed.

Weekends will be required every other weekend.

Expected patient ratios are 1 : 5.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and other services.

Common patient diagnoses include neurological conditions and telemetry cases.

Special procedures include being a designated stroke unit and a Spine Center of Excellence.

Experience with various skills such as telemetry and management of dysrhythmias is required.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

References must include a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years.

Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.

Refusal to float may result in the termination of the assignment.

Modules are required to be completed pre-start and annually.
