Job Description
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager who thrives in dynamic environments and can bring clarity to ambiguous situations. This role requires a confident professional with strong executive presence who can build trusted relationships across stakeholders, support informed decision-making, and proactively drive alignment and process maturity.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a strategic partner to Business Sponsors, ensuring initiatives align with organizational goals and challenging assumptions where needed.
- Facilitate the annual planning process, including business case development, prioritization, and preparation of key deliverables.
- Provide data, insights, recommendations, and talking points to help leaders ask the right questions and make well-informed decisions.
- Lead core team discussions to foster collaboration, transparency, and alignment across stakeholders.
- Analyze initiative performance with a focus on budgets and resources, identifying key trends and responding to ad hoc leadership requests.
- Support initiative review meetings with Product Managers and Program / Project Managers to ensure progress against OKRs, financials, and delivery commitments.
- Partner with Portfolio Analysts to support resource and capacity planning.
- Identify unplanned demand and support intake processes to enable effective prioritization and leadership decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.Confidence and executive presence to engage with senior leaders and influence decision-making.Experience with planning, prioritization, and portfolio / resource management.Familiarity with agile project management tools (JIRA, Rally, Polarion, or similar) is a plus.Life insurance, financial services, or related industry experience strongly preferred.ITR Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k) for eligible employees. The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $60.00 - $65.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
