job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEnsure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by adhering to regulations, standards, and internal policies, while promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Serve as a working supervisor, overseeing the performance and activities of the shift personnel in Receiving Foster a culture of safety by prioritizing and ensuring compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with the RCRA Part B Permit, while assigning daily tasks to staff. Supervise the inventory, sampling, and labeling of received drums, as well as the movement of drums within the warehouse. Ensure that sorted containers are properly transferred to designated facility areas Ensure sorted materials are sampled, processed, transferred, or stored in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements Ensure all area equipment is properly maintained and repaired. Perform other duties as assigned. HS Diploma or equivalent is required Ability to operate a forklift Experience performing inventory and quality control activities Previous industry experience and knowledge of DOT regulations is desirable.
