About The Position

Description :

The position requires working in a progressive care unit.

Candidates must have experience with fresh post-operative kidney transplants and complex cases.

The role involves managing patients with moderate to high risk for dysrhythmias.

Candidates should have skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.

Experience with hemodynamic devices is essential.

Ongoing interventions and assessments will be required every 2 hours.

Familiarity with various medications, including Milrinone, Dopamine, and dobutamine, is necessary.

The unit may use advanced equipment such as Swan Ganz and external pacemakers.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to different areas within the organization.

Holiday availability is a requirement, with candidates expected to work during peak holiday periods.

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are essential for this role.

Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.
