Responsibilities

  • Set up production machinery to cut flexible shafts.
  • Use small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts.
  • Inspect products using micrometer and calipers.

    • Type of machines you will be working with : Hydraulic Press, Grinder, Abrasive Saw, Weld Cutter, Winder.

    Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering or related field or 2 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong math and computer skills.

    • Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours per day.
  • Ability to move about, bend, stoop, use hands.
  • Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20 / 40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
