Job Summary
The role focuses on delivering tailored solutions that support long-term client relationships and drive growth in the US market. This role requires a senior-level Services Sales Engineer who bridges customer needs with service capabilities. The position focuses on delivering tailored solutions that support long-term client relationships and drive growth in the US market.
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead new client acquisition and client growth through consistent prospecting, event attendance and relationship development. The role will work with marketing to respond to leads and move prospects through the sales process. It will also involve collaboration with our in-house consultants as well as our client services and technical teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure smooth onboarding.

Sales & Business Development
Hunt for new business and onboard new customersBuild relationships with corporates and potential partnersAct as the face of Projective in the US marketBuild sector and client knowledge and maximize opportunities for growthManage pipeline (new and existing business) with monthly reportingNurture both new and existing long-term client relationshipsPrepare proposals and company presentationsAttend industry events and represent ProjectiveTechnical Expertise
Understand and articulate service offerings in consultancy, design, delivery and continuous technical support.Translate client needs into feasible, commercially viable solutionsStay informed on industry trends and competitor activityCustomer Engagement

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Sales10+ years’ experience ideal; minimum 5 years with proven record in selling engineering services, ideally in the MEP, Utilities and Facilities technology sectorsExperience in process industries (Pharma, F&B, Chemical)Strong understanding of engineering principles and service delivery modelsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsFamiliarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and industry regulationsContinuous professional development post-graduation in sales, project management, or relevant technical areasTravel Requirements
Our US office is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, US, with our Head Office based in Fleet, Hampshire, UK.This role is hybrid, with travel to client sites and the Indianapolis office as required.Valid driver’s license and passport requiredApplicants must have existing eligibility to work in the US and access to personal transportation.Willingness to travel extensively within the US territory (typically 50%).Compensation & Benefits
