ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• SQF Practitioner, maintains SQF System
• Holds responsibility for Food Safety and holds authority to initiate action regarding Food Safety
• Ensure food safety procedures are adhered to and enforced throughout production.
• Serve as primary contact for all external audits concerning food safety and quality.
• Primary contact for Pest Control Program
• Prepare and educate all employees on food safety and quality standards
• Serve as primary contact for all customer complaints (document and track all complaints and prepare corrective actions, as needed)
• Monitor all inbound and outbound products for spec adherence.
• Handle filing and monitoring of all internal food safety documentation (lot code tracking, allergen control, spec adherence, etc.)
• Monitor FDA issued recalls and ensure all vendors are safe and approved.
• Handle all internal recall needs.
• Manage verification and validation for all food safety and quality systems.
• Ensures adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule
• Answers and fulfills all external document-action requests
• Manages the Quality Department Budget
• Manages Product Development Specialist
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to inventory control activities.
