The Opportunity The CNC Programmer is responsible for programming advanced CNC equipment to machine high-precision components used in turbomachinery and related industrial applications. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and manufacturing execution by interpreting technical blueprints, creating efficient machining strategies, and programming high-precision parts for production on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes . The role includes close collaboration with the operations team to ensure dimensional accuracy and manufacturability of complex components.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models to develop CNC machining strategies.
• Program 5-axis and multi-axis machines using HyperMill and Fusion 360.
• Generate and maintain accurate tool paths, setup sheets, and program documentation.
• Select tooling and recommend fixture designs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with machine operators, engineers, and quality teams to validate programs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs as needed.
• Support first-article inspections and assist with non-conformance resolution.
• Recommend improvements for cycle time, surface finish, and tool life.
