Child & Adolescent Counselor — Betty Hardwick Center
This position is eligible for remote work.
The Child & Adolescent Counselor provides CBT counseling to Child and Adolescent Consumers of Mental Health services in Jones, Callahan, Shackelford, Stephens and Taylor Counties. The role may include some daytime crisis work. The schedule is primarily 8–5 with some flexibility. The counselor will work with other child-serving agencies such as the schools, Juvenile Probation, and Child Protective Services. Duties may include intake assistance, annual diagnostic requirements, case management, and skills training for children and their families. The position requires frequent in-person or virtual contact with Children, Families, and service providers and may involve attending school ARD meetings, wraparound staffings, and CRCG meetings as an advocate for the child and family.
