Daybreak Dental, a leader in providing quality dental care, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Insurance Coordinator. This full-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about enhancing patient experiences from the first point of contact. Importantly, this is an on-site role at our well-equipped and friendly office. The position will be 4 days to start with the possibility to go to 5 days. Bilingual a plus!

The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring all front desk operations are conducted efficiently, with specific emphasis on handling dental insurance and billing processes. Daybreak Dental is committed to providing exemplary services and relies on our front desk team to maintain the smooth operation of all insurance-related activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments effectively to manage daily office flow and optimize patient satisfaction and office productivity.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accurately to prevent billing issues and facilitate smooth processing of claims.
  • Engage in treatment planning, presenting, and collecting patient co-insurance to ensure clear communication and financial transparency with our patients.
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries with patience and empathy, providing information and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience working in a dental office, specifically at the front desk, handling various administrative and insurance-related tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and verification processes is necessary to efficiently handle inquiries and claims.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, ensuring high standards of patient interaction at all times.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain office order and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with Open Dental software.
