LJB offers challenging and rewarding assignments for Spring or Summer 2026 Co-op and Intern students in our Charlotte, NC office. Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Assist with engineering tasks related to structural design, analysis, and documentation.
• Perform routine assignments under close supervision, following established standards, procedures, and drawings.
• Gain exposure to both office-based and field-based work, including design planning, site visits, and construction processes.
• Support project teams with technical calculations, reports, and documentation.
• Contribute to CAD and / or BIM drawings and sketches under the guidance of senior engineers.
