CambridgeUniversityPress& Assessment is currently recruiting to fill an AssociateDevelopmentEditor position with the Higher Education team. Based in New York, NY, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to further their publishing career and knowledge. Working with a team of friendly and collaborative Development Editors in Cambridge, UK, and in New York, this position will provide a strong grounding in the principles of textbook development and lay an excellent foundation for a career in textbook publishing.

As an Associate Development Editor, you will be :
About you
We are looking for an individual educated to degree level or equivalent, who has a demonstrable passion for Higher Education textbook publishing and equity and inclusivity in learning materials. You will have excellent line editing skills, familiarity with structural editing as well as the ability to look at a manuscript creatively and critically. You will also have very strong project management experience, with the ability to juggle tasks for projects at different stages. You will be an excellent and authoritative communicator, both in speaking and writing. Good IT skills, especially proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, and good written and verbal communication skills are also essential. Any experience with learning software would be an advantage.
