Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and leadership-driven Management Trainee to join our North Little Rock team. This role is designed to prepare you to manage all aspects of operations at a metal recycling facility. You’ll gain hands-on experience in planning, staffing, logistics, safety, and equipment operations under the guidance of the Regional Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and support all operational functions of the facility
  • Supervise employees and schedule daily yard and road work
  • Oversee scale operations and daily material purchases
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support production
  • Monitor quality of incoming materials and ensure customer specifications are met
  • Maintain daily inventory and input move tickets into the SAI system
  • Complete month-end reports and sales forecasts
  • Operate equipment as part of training and support yard functions
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Future relocation may be required within 8–12 months

    • Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory, management, or leadership experience (required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Experience in metals, shredders, or equipment operations is a plus
