Our client, a leader in the advanced Polymer Material manufacturing, is looking for a Controls Engineer in the Pineville, NC area. Key qualifications include 5-10 years of experience in process control and automation and 5-10 years of experience in programming / developing / configuring DeltaV, PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems. A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field is required.

Salary : $95,000 - 105,000 per year

Work hours : 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities

• Design and Maintenance : Design, implement, and maintain control systems including DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA software to World Class standards.
• Project Leadership : Lead the development and execution of small electrical and controls projects, including upgrading obsolete systems.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Provide hardware and software application support to production and maintenance teams, and troubleshoot systems using technical documents.
• Preventative and Corrective Actions : Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and correct system faults after power outages.
• System Setup & Improvement : Set up and configure replacement components, and continuously improve existing controls systems like ladder logic, motor controls, and operator interfaces.
