Ideal candidates will have a proven record in digital strategy and sales, new business development, creating and selling new sponsorship initiatives, and experience selling high profile sports like NFL, NASCAR, and MLB.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership for your own digital and broadcast sales team
- Recruit, hire, and coach a high performing sales team and hold the sales department to high standards of performance
- Develop and execute sales strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets in Local, Digital, New Business, Sponsorships
- Work with Director of Sales to determine inventory and pricing strategies to increase ROI on Queen City News' suite of digital and linear products
- Lead accounts receivable efforts of the sales team
- Create value and position pieces based on Queen City News successes and trends
- Actively participate in networking and charitable organizations in the community
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales
