A law firm seeks a Patent Agent with a focus on Electrical Engineering to join a dynamic legal team in San Antonio, TX . The Patent Agent will collaborate with clients and attorneys to evaluate invention technology, assess patentability, and draft and prosecute patent applications. Duties :
- Collaborate with inventors and researchers to evaluate technologies and assess patentability
- Draft and prosecute patent applications for innovations related to wireless technologies AI processor systems , and more
- Work on patent portfolio management and provide strategic guidance for clients
- Respond to USPTO actions and assist in maintaining and expanding patent portfolios
- Stay updated on advancements in technology to ensure accurate representation of evolving innovations
- Work alongside attorneys to navigate patent law and provide advice on patent strategies
- Develop expertise in specific areas of wireless communications autonomous vehicles , and other emerging fields
