About The Position We are seeking a board-certified Family Practice Doctor for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana, starting Oct 20, 2025. This opportunity features an outpatient primary care setting with day shifts Monday through Friday, including an abbreviated Friday schedule. The role is ideal for physicians experienced as sole providers in outpatient care and offers a focused schedule for a defined contract duration. Job Details Location : Louisiana Start Date : Oct 20, 2025 LOA : 60 days Provider Type Needed : Family Practice Doctor Schedule : Monday - Thursday 9am-4 : 30pm, Friday 9am-12pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care as the sole provider Deliver care in accordance with board certification in Family Medicine Manage patient diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up Ensure compliance with all required certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA registration Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff as needed Maintain accurate and timely medical records Additional Information Board certification in Family Medicine required Active Louisiana medical license required Outpatient primary care experience as a sole provider strongly preferred IHS experience is a plus Must maintain current BLS and DEA credentials Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
