Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Duties- Accounts Payable Specialist :

  • Processes invoices for payment
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries
  • Research, document and resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, and / or payment discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities
  • Reconciles monthly statements by verifying entries and comparing system reports to statements.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

    • Experience preferred- Accounts Payable Specialist :

  • 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
  • Associates Degree, in Accounting / Bookkeeping preferred.
  • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred
  • This is a fully onsite position, target salary range 52k-58k based off experience level
