Overview
Director of Operations – Tax & Consulting
Be the operational heartbeat of a growing, people-first team. We’re not just building a business—we’re building a culture where people thrive, teams unite, and growth feels purposeful. Our Tax & Consulting group is expanding, and we’re seeking a Director of Operations to take our people, processes, and platforms to the next level.
This is not a back-office role. It’s a chance to shape how the firm scales, how teams work together, and how new firms integrate seamlessly into the organization. We need a leader who can balance execution with empathy—someone who is as skilled at building trust and culture as they are at streamlining processes and driving M&A integrations.
If you love bringing structure to complexity, thrive on connecting people across functions, and want to make a tangible impact on a fast-growing organization, this could be your career-defining opportunity.

- Location : Based out of Rockford, IL headquarters or Tax Centers in St. Charles, IL; Iowa City, IA; Cedar Rapids, IA; Dover, DE; or Lewes, DE. Travel will be required during integrations.
- Work Model : More in-office time during onboarding; potential for hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 remote) once established.
- Hours : Standard business hours with flexibility. Expect 55–60 hours / week during Tax Season (Jan–Apr).
- Scope : Leadership role with both operational and strategic impact, balancing hands-on execution with mentorship.
