Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Contract

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2210 - $2370

Location : Rosedale, Maryland (zip code 21237) – Baltimore area healthcare jobs

Facility : Busy community hospital with 14 operating rooms

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 11 / 2025 – End : 2 / 10 / 2026)

Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (07 : 30 – 15 : 30)

Total Hours : 40 hours per week

Call Requirement : 3 weeknights and 2 weekends in a 6-week period

Float Requirement : Yes, float to other units as needed

Patient Population : Adult and geriatric patients

Scrub Color : Blue

Special Equipment : DaVinci Xi, Ion Robot (robotic surgery experience preferred)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Current and active Compact RN license or Maryland Registered Nurse license

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a similar-sized hospital

Certifications : ACLS and BLS required; CNOR certification preferred

Proficiency with Cerner EMR charting system

Experience in General and GYN surgery required; robotic surgery experience a plus

Ability to work two out of three major holidays (including surrounding days)

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

OR RN Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures : General, GYN, Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, ENT, Endoscopic, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, and Robotic surgeries

Operate advanced surgical equipment, including DaVinci Xi and Ion Robot

Maintain strict infection control and patient safety protocols

Float to other hospital units as needed

Participate in on-call rotation (3 weeknights and 2 weekends in 6 weeks)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including pharmacy, rapid response, and support staff

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients

Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
