The Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP), part of the Security Incentives & Partnerships team within the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC), is seeking a strategically minded and technically fluent Senior Security Operations Engineer - MAPP Partner Enablement to join our team. This role is pivotal to MAPP's evolution—from a CVE-sharing initiative to a proactive, intelligence-driven ecosystem that empowers global security partners to protect customers faster and more effectively.
As a Senior Security Operations Engineer - MAPP Partner Enablement , you will lead the operationalization of detection guidance for high-priority vulnerabilities, drive partner readiness, and help shape how Microsoft scales threat intelligence across the ecosystem. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth, business acumen, and cross-functional coordination to ensure that detection content is not only accurate and timely—but also impactful, measurable, and monetizable.

Security Operations Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
