Assistant House Manager role at WORK Inc. in Quincy, MA. Schedule : Tuesday to Saturday. Responsibilities
- 22 hours direct care duties and 18 hours flexible administrative duties, with a Tuesday to Saturday work schedule.
- Assist in the development of maximum independence, responsibility and self-worth.
- Integrate quality-of-life ideals into daily management and program development.
- Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans, progress notes and treatment plans.
- Nurture positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
- Provide appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- Ensure smooth operation of the program when the House Manager is off duty.
- Provide on-the-job supervision to CTS when the House Manager is not on duty.
- Provide emergency on-call coverage when House Manager is on planned time off approved by the Program Director.
- Assess program participant's independent living skills.
- Design and implement skill acquisition and behavior management programs for consumer caseloads.
- Collect necessary data to demonstrate the effectiveness of training programs and design data collection forms.
- Prepare and implement individual service plans, behavioral plans, progress notes and treatment plans.
- Maintain records for program participants on caseloads in a timely and complete manner.
- Provide guidance and support to program participants as needed.
- Meet regularly with program participants' vocational case managers, families, therapists and other support staff to ensure coordinated programming.
- Participate in the DDS ISP process.
- Assess consumer needs for supportive services and refer to appropriate agencies as necessary.
- Make arrangements for periodic and as-needed medical and dental care.
- Assist program participants in using community resources.
- Design and implement money management programs for all program participants.
- Attend regular house meetings, staff meetings and individual supervision; complete in-service training as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of building and grounds.
- Ensure staff coverage and provide coverage when needed.
- Obtain Human Rights Officer and Fire Safety Officer Certifications.
- Carry out duties as assigned by House Manager / Residential Director.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Social Work or related field or minimum three years' experience.Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver's License and a safe driving record.Seniority level
