Staff Management | SMX in Shelbyville, Indiana is hiring Manufacturing Associates to join our team.

This is a temp-to-hire position and we offer benefit packages, weekly pay, as well as advancement opportunities with an amazing company.

Pay Rate : $18.00

• $19.00 / hour Duties : There are multiple departments within the buildings, responsibilities will depend on where you are placed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Loads and unloads parts from the machining line.

Inspects machined parts.

Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled.

May operate a forklift to move production parts.

Audits special parts as designed from die casting.

Melts re-melt, sows and ingot.

Pours and pulls ladles as directed.

Runs samples for analyzing chemical composition of aluminum.

Cleans holding furnaces.

Performs 5S housekeeping throughout and at end of shift.

Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements : Must be willing to learn and cross-train in multiple areas.

Plant conditions, including exposure to noise, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.

Regular exposure to extreme temperatures Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs.

Requirements : Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 49 pounds., required education : HS Diploma or GED.
