Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including clinics, home care, and senior care facilities. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.

Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.

Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.

Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.

Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks) as required.

Support medical staff during procedures in various settings such as clinics or operating rooms (OR).

Provide care for patients with infectious diseases while following safety guidelines.

Skills

Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.

Knowledge of anatomy to assist in providing appropriate patient care.

Experience in home care or senior care environments is preferred.

Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures as needed.

Excellent patient service skills to ensure a positive experience for those under your care.

Familiarity with infectious disease care protocols to maintain patient safety.

Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like eClinicalWorks is a plus.
