Role Summary
As a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Sanford, FL, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, working closely with families, educators, and related service providers to promote student success.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to determine student needs related to visual impairment
Develop and implement individualized instruction plans
Provide instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and orientation and mobility skills
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
Participate in IEP meetings and documentation
Monitor and report student progress
Requirements (Florida)
Valid Florida certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Experience working with students who have visual impairments preferred

Local Contract
Full-time, on-site in Sanford, FL
Hourly rate : $43$49 / hour
Travel Contract
Full-time, on-site in Sanford, FL
Weekly take-home pay based on experience
