Overview
We are looking for a paralegal experienced in Family Law, Criminal, Estate Planning, Probate, for our office in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of family law and have prior experience operating in a court setting. You can assist attorneys in other practice areas such as criminal, estate planning, or probate. They must demonstrate superior communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ability to balance and prioritize multiple obligations in a fast-paced work environment is essential. Communicating with Spanish-speaking clients is a plus. The role requires maintaining utmost privacy.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft legal documents relating to family law, estate planning, and probate
- Collect and respond to discovery requests
- Serve subpoenas and other legal notices
- Establish effective communication with clients and relevant contacts
- Prepare for court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Ensure deadlines and calendar obligations are met
- Work in conjunction with family law attorneys
