MPE (Manufacturing Product Engineering) Job Description

Main Responsibilities :

New Product Introduction Management :

• Lead the new product introduction process, ensuring a smooth transition of products from R&D to mass production on the production line.
• Lead the supply manufacturing tasks during the new product introduction process, including NPI, diagnostics, PCB, PMC, equipment, IE, quality, and other related fields.
• Lead the engineering development of new products, including process development and custom label / sticker design.
• Lead and complete the initial production of new products, pre-production trials, and small batch production activities.
• Complete DFM (Design for Manufacturability) checks during product development, identify manufacturability issues, and drive improvements with R&D to resolve them.

Mass Production Product Management :

This position requires in-depth knowledge of the new product introduction process, the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with various departments, and the capability to solve technical and process issues during production. A background in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related engineering fields is required. At least 5+ years of relevant project experience is needed. Experience in the server industry is preferred.
