Professor, Film and Television

SCAD Savannah is seeking a passionate and innovative Professor of Film and Television to join our vibrant academic community. The ideal candidate will be a creative professional with a strong background in both the theoretical and practical aspects of film and television production, and an ability to inspire and mentor students in a hands-on, collaborative environment. SCAD film and television students are immersed in a creative studio environment where cutting-edge technology and academic and professional instruction enable them to create award-winning media. Student productions have been screened at premier film festivals around the world, including the Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and South by Southwest.

As a professor, you will join SCAD and its School of Film and Acting in providing educational opportunities of excellent quality to its students within a professional environment wherein knowledge, creativity, discipline, and character are developed. To accomplish this, you will teach and perform other assigned duties in support of this purpose.

Minimum Qualifications :

MFA in Film and Television or its equivalent in a relevant discipline

Extensive professional experience and qualifications in film and television
