Position Summary :

This role manages the Injection Molding department, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, customer service, continuous improvement, and team development, under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support a large team in a demanding environment
  • Oversee 24 / 7 production operations, ensuring objectives are met
  • Maintain a safe work environment, enforce standards, and conduct safety training
  • Manage operational metrics to optimize productivity and quality
  • Develop and review policies and procedures
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, set clear expectations
  • Implement lean management practices
  • Manage staffing, training, and development
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete professional development and promote growth
  • Lead projects to improve business performance
  • Be available 24 / 7 for emergencies

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, plastics preferred
  • Knowledge in material control, engineering, quality, maintenance
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP / MRP systems
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, WCM, LEAN)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented, adaptable to change, and able to handle stress
  • Proficient in data analysis and project management

    • Physical & Work Environment :

    Requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using PPE. Work environment includes office, manufacturing plant, and outdoor settings, with moderate noise levels.
