Salary : $60 / hr - $65 / hr
Location : TA55 Plant, Los Alamos, NM
Citizenship : US Citizenship Required
Work Schedule : 4 / 10 Schedule with anticipated overtime. (Graveyard shifts may be required).
Clearance : Active DOE Q Clearance Required (Must have prior to start)

- Active DOE Q Clearance at time of application – no exceptions.
- Nuclear experience is required – applications without direct nuclear project experience will not be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction or engineering-related experience.
- Must be able and willing to work graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities And Duties
Lead construction projects valued at $500k or lessOversee Superintendent 2 personnel as neededServe as Control Account Manager (CAM) for designated projectsConduct and lead investigations into abnormal events, incidents, or accidentsCreate and maintain project performance plans, schedules, and budgetsProvide detailed variance analysis and implement corrective actionsPresent project updates to federal sponsors and senior stakeholdersInterface with all levels of management and stakeholdersDrive project execution in line with DOE 413.3B and EVMS standardsEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standardsLead constructability reviews and assess impacts on cost and scheduleMinimum Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in engineering, procurement, or constructionDemonstrated project leadership with budget, schedule, and scope managementExperience with nuclear construction environments and DOE 413.3B complianceDeep understanding of collective bargaining agreements and labor coordinationProven ability to analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsPrior experience with computerized work management systemsEffective oral and written communication skillsDesired Skills
Nuclear Worker designationFamiliarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management experienceAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams in secure and high-risk environmentsAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-resolution skillsEducation And Experience Requirements
