Role Specific

The Enterprise Tech Integration Technology Office (ITO) is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Director to join the team. As a Director of Project Management, you will be uniquely positioned to have line of sight and influence over transformation initiatives with impacts across multiple lines of business. More specifically, you will be focused on partnering with lines of business and horizontal Technology teams to help them flawlessly execute their top priorities. You will lead complex initiatives while ensuring well-managed, timely and effective delivery. You will also escalate, and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning respective programs to ensure appropriate execution as a part of a high performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded candidate to help boldly drive some of the top strategic initiatives across the Enterprise Tech organization.

Specific responsibilities related to project management

• Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
• Driving all phases of project management to include feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation and close out of projects
• Effectively applying project management methodology and standards, and ensuring project documents are complete and up to date
• Displaying cross-functional teamwork, communication, negotiation and leading across all levels
• Partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
• Working with cross functional teams and influencing others to work toward common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints
• Creating transparency and fostering relationships to adjacent teams

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Salary ranges : Chicago, IL : $181,800 - $207,500; McLean, VA : $200,100 - $228,400; Richmond, VA : $181,800 - $207,500. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter. The role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and / or long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package.
