Who We Serve
North Bay Regional Center provides advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. We partner with community-based organizations and agencies to empower our clients to thrive and live as independently as possible within the geographically, culturally, and ethnically diverse communities we serve.

North Bay Regional Center serves over 10,000 people living within the geographic boundaries of Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. Guided by our NBRC Mission and Values to assist people with developmental disabilities to obtain the services and supports needed to live as others do in the community, NBRC has established Strategic Goals to guide our efforts in focused areas : employment, independence, community access and family supports.

Definition
Under the general supervision of the IT Supervisor , performs a wide variety of technology systems support services.
Nature of Work
The Information Technology Technician 2 is responsible for providing support for the Regional Center's operations which includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of workstations, software, email, telecommunication systems, video systems, network equipment and end-user support using Helpdesk. Works with Information Technology Staff to maintain LAN / WAN, internet service, hardware, software and communication systems, and related work as assigned.
This is a professional class, providing a wide range of technical support and network-related operations. Incumbent must be able to work independently to troubleshoot issues, respond to employee requests for assistance, and perform system monitoring and maintenance. May assist with the training of others and may travel to branch offices to perform some responsibilities. Scheduled hours of work may vary.
This position will have access to computer files, applications and equipment, including those containing highly sensitive and / or confidential information and is responsible for confidentiality and security of such data systems.
This position will require regular travel within Sonoma, Napa and Solano Counties and may work outside of normal business hours.

Minimum Education and Experience
Any combination equivalent to graduation from college in computer science or a related field and four years of responsible systems administration experience -OR- Equivalent to graduation from high school with additional courses and certifications in computer technology and experience maintaining and administrating technology systems. Minimum education requirement may not be waived.

Salary Range :
$66,012 – $72,792 with opportunities for 5% increases annually.
