Registered Nurse - Emergency
The REGISTERED NURSE (EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT) is a member of the patient care team responsible for providing direct nursing care to critically ill or injured patients in the Emergency Department. The duties of the REGISTERED NURSE include but are not limited to :
- Triaging patients properly and efficiently
- Obtaining and documenting initial patient assessments – establishing priorities according to patient needs
- Reassessing patients as necessary, communicating changes to the physician
- Making comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes
- Providing patient and family regarding patient emergency care and after care
The successful candidate will possess the following :
Valid California Registered licenseOne (1) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency or Critical Care environmentBLS, ACLS, NCI, PALS and EDAPCompletion of basic arrhythmia coursesUnderstanding of EMTALA and abuse reporting requirementsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills requiredBasic computers skills – Empower experience preferredPIde9786850b2c-30511-34846536
