PURPOSE OF ANNOUNCEMENT :
To recruit qualified candidates to fill one (1) Building Control Supervisor vacancy for the Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General Services, Property Management Division. Responsibilities focus on planning, scheduling, and directing the work of Building Control Technicians, trades personnel, and vendor technicians engaged in the general operation, installation, or repair of automated building control / security and related Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Additional duties include performing system troubleshooting and maintenance, adjusting system programs and documenting system operation and performance. Work is performed under general supervision.
REPRESENTATIVE TASKS :
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An Associates Degree from an accredited educational institution in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, a related HVAC trade, or other related area and three (3) years experience with HVAC and / or security systems to include at least one (1) year of experience operating an automated building control / security system.
