As we continue to grow, we're looking for a high-performing Account Executive to join our sales team and help us expand our footprint in one of the nation’s most dynamic construction markets.
Position Overview :
The Account Executive – Houston will play a key role in driving new business, strengthening current client relationships, growing existing business and contributing to the overall growth of SpecTex Solutions. This is a hands-on, field-based sales position ideal for a motivated self-starter with strong industry knowledge and a passion for helping clients succeed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities in the Houston market at the wholesale level.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project managers and key decisions makers at plumbing and mechanical contractors.
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to assess needs and propose value-driven solutions
- Prepare and present accurate bids, quotes, and sales proposals tailored to project requirements
- Negotiate pricing and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide timely reporting on pipeline and performance
- Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and project support
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and local market developments
