Express Employment is hiring a detail-driven welder to join a long-term, full-time assignment in the Lafayette, IN area. You’ll cut, join, and fabricate metal components at our facilities and on construction sites, building mechanical structures and parts with exacting accuracy.

What a Day Looks Like

• Set up and perform daily inspections on MIG (GMAW) welding machines to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Assemble and weld components per engineering prints; fabricate service parts as directed by the Welding Supervisor.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and perform related duties as assigned by Management.
