• Endo RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.\n
• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.\n\nEssential Functions\n
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.\n
• Documents patient care given.\n
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.\n
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.\n
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual / psychosocial support needs.\n
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.\n
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.\n\nNon-Essential Functions\n
• Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.\n\nAdditional requirements include : \n
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.\n
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.\n
• Current American Heart Association PALS certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.\n
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action\n
• Language Skills : Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.\n
