Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Facilities Management / Plant Operations to provide strong, hands-on leadership at a 135-bed hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all facility systems, maintenance, and plant functions while supporting a skilled team through an important transition period.
Schedule :
MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (exempt position; additional hours as needed)
Key Responsibilities :
Qualifications :
Minimum 7 years of facilities or plant operations experience , with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
Direct experience with TJC surveys (Environment of Care, Life Safety, and facility walkthroughs)
Proficiency in work order management systems (TMS or similar)
Proven success in team leadership, communication, and vendor management
NFPA Certification preferred (not required)
Healthcare or hospital facilities experience strongly preferred
