Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in an itinerant role. This contract position spans the entire school year and involves working directly with a caseload of approximately 10 students who require specialized instruction and support. The role is based in Tullahoma, TN, within a public school setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction and services tailored to the needs of visually impaired students.
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers by designing appropriate instructional materials and strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and municate regularly with families and school staff to ensure student success.
