Summary :
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the human resources organizational capability. This will involve supporting, driving, and implementing HR initiatives to increase organizational effectiveness, build the capability and talent of the workforce and team, and lead strategy and tactics to impact overall business performance and HR metrics positively. Additional network support may be required.
Responsibilities : Talent First
- Leads onboarding activities for the hourly and salaried workforce
- Supports implementation of talent development and learning efforts to meet organizational needs
HR Excellence
Facilitates business performance by utilizing knowledge of business and interrelationships to influence strategy and decision-makingContributes to human resource compliance efforts by ensuring guidelines and policies are consistent and enforced in the areas of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.Facilitates, recommends, and supports a consistent approach to business processes and proceduresOvercomes obstacles to delivering quality HR servicesLeverages and educates others on available technology, shared services, HR services, and procedures to meet customer needsA Great Place to Work

Education :
Bachelor's degree, or graduate degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline requiredPHR or SHRM certification preferredExperience :
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required, with 1 year in a leadership capacityAbility to lead projects to completionCompetent in Labor / Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection, Benefits and Compensation, as well as policy and procedure interpretationAbility to work and communicate effectively with others across levels and functions while working on multiple tasks in a matrix organizationAbility to make decisions based on all relevant information and develop recommendations / solve problems, based on dataMust have working knowledge of state and federal laws, along with practical applicationMust have experience in administering FMLA, affirmative action planning, workers' compensation management, and unemploymentAbility to facilitate training / learning in large group presentationsHuman Resources experience in a manufacturing environment preferred#LI-CE1
