Summary

As a Product Development Chemist, you will refine and optimize new chemistry concepts and complete the testing / data acquisition required to bring them to market.

You will :

Develop and formulate innovative chemistry solutions for disinfectants, sanitizers, and detergent technologies to address the needs of our customers. Provide technical support by conducting hands-on work in the lab to create and test prototypes, while presenting findings to a wide range of stakeholders who can then make informed decisions.

Continual upkeep and implementation of 6S for lab maintenance, safety and inventory for improved efficiency and reduction of lost time.

Allocate time for professional development to foster continuous career growth and deepen knowledge of the market, business trends, and competitors.

Document inventions and support patent preparation.

Work within cross-functional teams to deliver overall project on time with quality.

Communicate project progress to R&D leadership and collaborating with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar discipline

Formulation knowledge of disinfectants, sanitizers and cleaning chemistry (mechanisms)

Knowledge of analytical chemistry

Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding infection prevention products

Ability to lead and drive execution of scientific projects

An understanding of experimental design and design for six sigma

The expected compensation range for this position is between $62,700.00 and $104,500.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
