Clearance Requirement : Candidates must hold and maintain a minimum Secret security clearance to be considered for this position

Work Location : Springfield, VA

Work Schedule : Requires five (5) days onsite at the customer's facility with core hours from 9am-3pm

Position Overview : One of our Department of State contracts is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer that has a strong aptitude for learning and applying new skills in support of our State Department contract. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, great work ethic, excellent communication skills, and is detail oriented.

This role supports the administration and maintenance of systems that perform data analytics and data visualization. The primary work involves ongoing support for Tableau, a business intelligence and data visualization platform that gives users the ability to analyze, and visualize data through dashboards, charts, and reports. This role requires working closely with data engineers, system engineers, and cybersecurity representatives to ensure our program provides a secure and scalable environment for different offices around the State Department. The position also contributes to capacity planning and the creation of best practices and standards for Tableau use across the organization.

Requirements :

• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
• Identify risks in system design and production processes and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with business teams to manage user and group permissions, workbooks, projects, database views, data sources, and data connections in Tableau
• Provide incident and problem management support for Tableau-related issues
• Support capacity planning and scaling efforts for the Tableau platform
• Develop, document, and enforce standards and best practices for Tableau development and administration
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure a secure and compliant Tableau environment
