Position Summary : The Mechanical / Dimensional Inspector I is responsible for the performance of routine mechanical inspections per the technical documentation provided using pre-trained / determined methods to determine product acceptability.

FLSA : Non-exempt

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and investigate / resolve discrepancies found during part inspection.
• Locate appropriate programs, load components into inspection equipment, run basic inspection programs, and report results.
• Identify features for inspection and correctly assign dimensional values and tolerances specified in print to a given feature.
• Regular on-site attendance / punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
• May be required to work in other functional areas and / or facilities depending on business needs.
• May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
