Job Summary
We are seeking a Home Care Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will collect, manage, and report on the scheduling information. This is an important position that allows us to provide comprehensive and consistent patient care by coordinating medical and health services. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and possesses excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Coordinate internal and external staffing needsAssign caregivers to scheduled client shiftsUse cloud-based scheduling softwareMaintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverageCommunicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their scheduleCommunicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changesAssist in the hiring, training, and management of new staffUpdate daily schedulesAnswers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs customer data into company systems.Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Qualifications
High school diploma or GEDPrevious experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a similar position is preferredHighly organized with attention to detailComfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programsAbility to multitask and prioritize projectsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProfessionalism, confidentiality, and organizationSchedulingMicrosoft Office skillsTyping
