Apply Lean manufacturing and Theory of Constraints tools to optimize processes and workgroups. Engage with suppliers to explore and implement new manufacturing concepts, tooling, and equipment, managing project plans, timelines, and budgets. Proficiency in problem solving and root cause analysis tools. Ability to manage project assignments with broad scope, prioritize, and complete tasks timely. Effective teamwork and communication skills across functions. Experience in Lean or TOC improvement initiatives. Preferred experience in ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or medical device manufacturing environments. Excellent written and verbal customer service skills. Modeling / drafting experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Familiarity with CAM systems like MasterCam, Esprit, or Partmaker is a plus. Manufacturing Engineer : BS in engineering plus 3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent. Summary :
The primary purpose of the Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. I & Sr. II, is to contribute technical manufacturing, project management skills, and process excellence thinking to our Operations and New Product Introduction teams. This role involves collaboration with external and internal customers, leading projects that improve manufacturing methods, designs, and documentation to enhance efficiency, reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness of our product lines.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Apply advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve problems, documenting results.
- Support the operations team directly.
- Lead new projects from development through delivery, focusing on long-term cost, quality, and delivery.
- Support qualification and validation activities for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Design and implement robust production processes ensuring they meet business needs.
- Develop work instructions and documentation for training and maintaining manufacturing proficiency.
