Responsibilities

GE Healthcare Electrical Engineering co-ops work on a variety of assignments with responsibilities and hands-on involvement in areas of Electrical Engineering. These positions feature project-oriented assignments where a manager and mentor provide support. Responsibilities include evaluating new technology, executing performance tests, building prototypes, and documenting feasibility results to develop subsystems of anesthesia and respiratory care systems.

Qualifications

• High self-confidence
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems clearly
• Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Biomedical-Electrical or Electrical Engineering areas
• Proven leadership skills and experience
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams
• Able to work for a minimum of 28 weeks
• Willing to relocate to Madison, WI
• Full-time student pursuing a degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering
