Manager Notes :

• On-site role at Atlanta Technology Center; WFH on Fridays. Will work 10am-5 : 30pm(EST)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
• CSAM certification nice to have, not required
• 5+ years’ experience preferred in software asset management
• Top skills include the following :
• IT procurement experience
• Hands-on asset management experience
• Software licensing / contracting
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with Flexera
• Desired soft skills :
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Combination of skills that would make a candidate stand out :
• SAM professional (module in ServiceNow)
• Previous Nike experience
• The initial main focus of the role will be to 1) develop an effective license position for complex publishers and 2) to complete a renewal for a complex publisher
• Will work directly with ~11 people; 4 existing employees who do the same job, and then others from finance, procurement, legal, and vendor management teams (cross functionally)
• Candidates can expect 2 rounds of interviews (1st rd technical, 2nd behavioral)

We’re looking for an experienced, analytical, and results-driven Software Asset Manager to join our Global Technology organization. In this role, you’ll own and evolve the software asset lifecycle strategy across the global enterprise—ensuring license compliance, optimizing software investments, and reducing risk across a complex technology landscape.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of software licensing, vendor management, and asset governance. You bring a passion for automation, continuous improvement, and enterprise-scale problem solving. You thrive in ambiguity and know how to build trust with stakeholders across technology, legal, finance, and procurement.

You’ll report to the Director of Global Software Asset Management and work closely with Software Procurement, Legal, InfoSec, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, and Technology stakeholders globally. You’ll also collaborate with vendor representatives and audit partners to manage risk and maximize value.
