Role Overview

As the Project Accounting Coordinator (internally known as Construction Project Coordinator), you’ll have a big mission. Responsible for assuring the Company’s standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as ‘what’ was done here at BH!

Key Responsibilities

• Communicates with Project Managers, vendors, etc, on questions and concerns affecting capital projects and follows procedures relevant to Construction Management and Accounting. Budgets, closing OCB’s, completed jobs
• Liaison for the offshore team
• Responsible for reviewing for completeness and accuracy, and processing of assigned construction required documentation including, but not limited to, Capital Request Forms, Requests for Proposals, change orders, pay applications, lien waivers, and affidavits as support to assigned Construction Project Managers.
• Process Capital Request Forms and associated documentation through the contract workflow process. This includes assisting with submission of Construction vendors through the vendor queue; including verification of correct documentation.
• Review construction invoices submitted by all parties, verifies accuracy, completeness, job coding, and percent complete. Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies prior to submitting to Accountant for approval. Follows up on delayed or missing invoices. Support with processing invoices related to property renovations through accounting workflow.
• Understanding of Job Cost inputs and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
